Warranty Return

Better hope the rod does not break and you have to return it. My son hooked a fish and the rod broke, it was approximately 7 months old. They are honoring the warranty but I have to pay to ship it back. Shipping cost on a 8' rod is not cheap, actually 6' now because it broke. Why should a customer have to pay more money because they buy something that breaks. This is the most ridiculous policy I have ever heard of. Customer service said I had to pay shipping but the "warranty fee" was being waived. The term "warranty fee" is a joke in itself. If you are going to sell a fishing rod for $155, that breaks from a fish being hooked, do not expect the customer to pay $50 plus to send back. I order many items online and any other time I have had to make a return the company has provided me with a shipping label. I will never order anything from this place again.
